I think I had lemon gelato once in Italy that was equally yummy, but here, you're right, all frozen lemon is ice or sorbet. Of the Five flavors, my previous favorite was the passion fruit, and from its absence on the Target freezer shelf yesterday, I wonder if it got pushed off the line-up for lemon as the new representative tart-fruit-flavor. I'd be bothered if this wasn't so good. <br /><br />This ice cream reminded me of lemon chess pie (a Southern thing) partly because of the little pieces of peel, aka zest, in the ice cream.
