¡Hola Fruta!- Margarita flavor Sherbet
I was kinda hoping that because it was supposed to be margarita flavored it would be salty, just a little bitter with a tad orange flavor to it.
Sadly for obvious reasons there is no salt. It's not bitter and there is no orange.
But, that being said it's a pretty decent lime sherbet. The word that most comes to mind to describe the lime taste is "sunny". It's bright, not too sweet with no bitter edge.
The mouth feel is excellent, very smooth and creamy without the course, icy grain that you sometimes get in cheap sherbets.
Texture wise it's, well sticky comes to mind. Vaguely like soft serve ice cream.
I think if you wanted an interesting desert keeping with the margarita theme, I would serve it in salt rimmed cups and topped with just a touch of freshly grated orange zest.
